I think the whole point of a Harem show is being able to easily distinguish between the likable characters. However, since comedy is the main aspect of the show, the plot to Ouran Koukou Host Club can be lackluster, or even random. But not to worry since there will be enough progression and character development to keep you interested. Overall, unless you are expecting a complex story and profound plot twists, then Ouran Koukou Host Club is an anime that perhaps every Harem fans will enjoy.
