ANSWERS:
Q. Is piracy killing or helping the anime industry?
A. I have to start off with a ‘possible’ but ‘not really’. While anime piracy does hurt the ‘sales’ of anime DVDs and Blu-rays, it also promotes the sales of merchandises such as figurines. At the end of the day, though I do think that ‘piracy’ does somewhat deal damage to the anime industry, I would not go as far as saying that piracy is the ‘sole’ reason that kill off the industry (if it is declining at all).
Having said all that, everyone, please continue supporting legal streaming sites such as Funimation and Crunchyroll. Because piracy really does have an impact on the salary of anime studios as well as their overworked/underpaid animators!!
Q. What anime are you planning to watch in 2020?
These are the anime that I am most hyped about. Of course I would still watch the other anime, but I will most likely be focusing on these ones first.
Q. What is your favorite anime quote and why?
A. “El Psy Kongroo” – Okabe Rintarou: Because I still fail to comprehend its meaning although Steins; Gates has been around since 2011.
Q. Who is your favorite anime couple?
A. My all-time favorite anime couple has to be Masafumi Akagi and Ryouko Kaji from Tsurezure Children. Their interactions are always cute and silly, and they never once failed to make me laugh. I would say BEST COUPLE!!

Q. What is your favorite video game?
A. My all-time favorite video game is easily Nier; Automata. The game has one of the best story line, containing some of the deepest and most meaningful philosophical messages. If you have not played this game yet, I really recommend you do. It will blow your mind!!
Q. If you could meet only 3 anime characters IRL(in real life), who would they be?
A. This is such a difficult question, considering there are so many anime characters out there to choose from. If I have to choose though:
Okabe Rintarou – Steins; Gates

He is just a funny character overall. And plus, I wanted to join the Future Gadget Lab and contribute to their time machine.
Kousaka Kirino – Oreimo

My goal is to one day steal Kirino’s figurines collection and make it my own ;P
Akane Tsunemori – Psycho Pass

Innocent looking but is actually a ‘monster’. I dont mind associating myself with such an inspector.
Q. Do you recall the 3 worst anime you have ever seen?
A. Though I have watched many anime, I would consider these 3 animes to be the worst I have ever seen:
Hyperdimension Neptunia

Despite receiving much initial hype (due to its video game series), Hyperdimension Neptunia is simply a disappointment. Watching through it felt more like a chore rather than entertainment. Even when I completed it, I had trouble remembering what the plot was actually about… IMO worst anime. Sorry Hyperdimension Neptunia fans!
RDG: Red Data Girl

I have watched this show 5 years ago, and while I have trouble remembering what the plot was actually about, I succinctly remembered the anime boring the lives out of me. Maybe Red Data Girl contained a plot so deep that the middle-school me failed to comprehend. Either way, it does not change the fact that RDG is on my worst anime list.
Fruit of Grisaia

This was one of the actual anime that I was hyped about following its Visual Novel release. Yet, I can only describe the show as ‘disappointing’. If you take 20% of the original Visual Novel, condense that into a 13 episodes anime, you will evidently end up with Fruit of Grisaia. For people planning to watch this anime… dont!! Play its Visual Novels instead.

ooo that was really interesting and fun to read!
I am also hyped for many anime you mentioned 🙂
I have never seen the anime you rated as “the worst” but as an experienced watcher of the worst anime I might give a try for fun lol
Personally I would be against it but I really dont see why not xd
Thanks for the tag! Interesting questions, too. I’ll try to get to this as soon as possible!
I was really disappointed with Hyperdimension Neptunia, too. I really wanted to like it, but it just didn’t grab my attention.
On the other hand, I really enjoyed Fruit of Grisaia. I never experienced the visual novel, though, so maybe that’s why I could enjoy it.
Thanks again for the tag!
No problem. And yes, maybe my expectation for Fruit of Grisaia was too high, therefore I was easily disappointed at the end.
And yes, please do take your time in replying, I am more interested in your answers than the reply speed 😊😊
Great answers! I especially liked your 3 choices for anime characters to meet IRL haha
Okabe! Legendary quote, legendary character.
Thanks for tagging me! Not sure when I’ll get around to it, but I’ll try!
