The age of the Isekai-genre has come!! How will you live your life after being given a second chance? What sort of cheat-ability would you choose? To answer these questions, we must dive into the fantastical world of Isekai ourselves to find out the answer. Below is the list of 5 BEST and Most Addicting ISEKAI Manga That You Should Be Reading RIGHT NOW!!
Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari

Naofumi Iwatani, along with 3 summoned heroes, were suddenly tasked with defeating a mob of mysteriously summoned demons. However, he quickly realized that this new world strongly discriminated against the ‘Shield’ ability. After being deemed a rapist and traitor, Naofumi swore to never rely on anyone ever again.
For those looking for a more serious and dark fantasy Isekai adventure, this manga is the perfect pick. Contrary to its all-happy harem genre, the manga contains mature themes and content that are definitely not for the innocents. If you are ready for a spiteful and excruciating adventure, look no further than Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari. It will immerse you into an addictive page-flipping experience!
Isekai Nonbiri Nouka

Machio Hiraku, a hospitalized middle-aged man was technically dead and given the chance to reincarnate into another world. When God asked him what profession he desired, surprisingly, Hiraku answered ‘farmer’. With utter confusion and shock, God hesitantly fulfilled his strange wish. Welcome to Hiraku’s farming adventure in the after-life.
For manga readers who preferred a more laid-back and relaxing themed Isekai, Isekai Nonbiri Nouka makes a perfect read. The idea of building a civilization from scratch with prior knowledge from more than 200 decades is exhilarating for many; in addition to the extra harem* content. If the description above sounds like your cup of tea, then definitely consider reading Isekai Nonbiri Nouka!!
Amazake no Hisago

Kurata, an office worker with a hobby for collecting Mecha robots died and was reincarnated in another world. There, he discovered the usefulness of ‘magic’. Combining his strong passion with Mecha Robots, Kurata vowed to become one of the best Knight to ever invent and ride them.
Amazake no Hisago is another one of those manga that introduced a know-all reincarnated Protagonists into an inferior civilization. Not only does Amazake no Hisago revolves around the use of magic, but it also provides a unique combination with Mecha Robots. If you are a Mecha fan who loved putting together Gundam figures, then Kurata of Amazake no Hisago will definitely excite you with some of his most creative and effective Robots inventions.
Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken

Minami Satoru was stabbed by a street robber and was reincarnated into an alternate world as a slime. There, after he discovered his unique ability to obtain the skills of whichever monster he ate, Satoru began one of the best fantastical adventures to ever be witnessed. His goals?? To become the strongest Slime to ever existed!!
Unlike other Isekai manga so far within this list, Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken narrates its story through monsters’ perspectives. With the seemingly all-cheat ability to gain monsters’ abilities, Satoru successfully went on to unite one of the strongest monster tribes of all time… as a mere slime!! If you love manga themes depicting friendships, leadership, and… some harem*, then you will definitely love Tensei Shirata Slime Datta Ken.
Re:Monster

Tomokui Kanata, or Rou, was stabbed by a friend who he considered a ‘little sister’. Fortunately, he reincarnated into another world as a goblin named Rou. Different from other Goblin within his race, Kanata possessed a ‘unique’ evolution tree that allowed him to grow much stronger. Now, it was up to him to build his own civilization from scratch.
Again, Re: Monster is one of the Isekai that narrated its story from the monsters’ perspective. The manga boasts powerful bonds of brotherhood, leadership, as well as a harem for our main character, Rou. With wide arrays of elements from different genres, Re: Monster will certainly be a varying and interesting read.
Conclusion:
Isekai manga often has protagonists who rebuild civilization from scratch in some ways or another. These themes are getting more popular than ever. What not better ways to catch-up than to begin reading some of the manga mentioned within this list??
For the more ‘experienced’ manga readers out there, are there more Isekai-genres that you would recommend?? If so, feel free to share them in the comment section below!!
I knew there was a smartphone in another world, I knew there was a slime in another world, I knew there were highschool prodigies in another world…
But I’ve never heard of farming in another world! Color me intrigued. It sounds oddly interesting.
It really is. I promise you wont regret reading it
I’ve only read two of these titles, and already I’m in such agony because they’re all fairly interesting yet all INCOMPLETE. I hate waiting for my shows to finish, it makes me lose track of what’s going on. But I’ve at least heard of those other titles as well! Maybe I’ll read them after they get a few more volumes out…
I can soo relate to that feeling. Just catching up to a series and waiting for long monthly updates is just painful 😣 but the stories are worth it so xd
