The Anime Spring 2020 season has been a strange one. Evidently, there were strange occurrences in-between, especially due to the Coronavirus Pandemic. As a result, we know that numerous anime have been pushed back and delay. However, Spring 2020 is finally wrapping up. In response, I have here composed a list of 5 additional anime to look forward to for the next anime season. Hopefully, this will give you an idea of which anime show to prioritize while making your Summer 2020 anime list!!
Let’s begin.
5. The God Of Highschool

- Episode: ??
- Source: Manhwa
- Studio: MAPPA
- Genre: Action, Sci-Fi, Adventure, Comedy, Supernatural, Martial Arts, Fantasy
Similar to Tower of God in the Spring 2020 season, The God of Highschool is another anime adapted from a Manhwa. Having read the Manhwa myself, I could confidently say that I am incredibly excited about the animated adaptation of the series. Boasting a straightforward and addicting plot, The God of Highschool will definitely not be a disappointing first pick!!
4. Sword Art Online: Alicization – War of Underworld 2nd Season

Following the explosive events of the previous season of SAO Alicization War of Underworld, I am extremely thrilled for its final season. Hopefully, the 2nd season of Alicization War of Underworld will provide adequate closures for the viewers. And ultimately, Kirito will be able to showcase his bad-ass dual wielding skills.
3. Enen no Shouboutai: Ni no Shou

Enen no Shouboutai: Ni no Shou will continue where its previous season left off. After finishing the first season, I still have many questions relating to the background of Shinra’s powers. In addition, I hope that the upcoming season will unveil various answers about Shinra’s brother, such as his backstory and so on.
2. Oregairu Season 3

After a seemingly long hiatus, Oregairu, also known as Yahari Ore no Seishun, is finally getting its 3rd season. Back then, Oregairu was getting all the hype from the anime community. Perhaps, it still is. Hopefully, the 3rd season of Oregairu will show us new context, characters, or even closure to the relationships between Hachiman and his heroines.
1. Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu 2nd Season

Following the first season of Re: Zero in 2016, the series went through a long hiatus since. Having been delayed due to the recent Coronavirus outbreak, the 2nd season of Re: Zero will finally be on-aired for Summer 2020. Truthfully, I cannot be more excited to start watching this amazing anime. Back in season 1, Re: Zero dark and twisted storyline really sucked me in. Hopefully, the same could be said for its upcoming 2nd season.
Conclusion:
That concludes my 5 most anticipated anime for the upcoming Summer 2020 season. I am really having high hopes for these series, and hopefully, you will not be let down by them as well.
